The following images are a series of web site mock-ups I did for O’Callaghan’s Pub (a Rochester-area bar opened by some friends of mine) built around the idea of a bar room chalkboard. While I don’t normally get involved in commercial projects, the design was so whimsical I wanted to take a shot at implementing it.

The QuRC is a teaching tool I created to help students rapidly calculate basic risk and contingency measures from the data in a 2×2 table. Users enter (aggregated) data, by selecting the type of analysis desired (risk, agreement, paired, matched, sensitivity/specificity) and then answering a series of six questions.

I created this web site as part of a free EC (Emergency Contraception) prescription service being tested by the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Reproductive Health Program in New York’s Monroe county. The site was primarily intended to be a web-based form submission, validation, and notification system for EC prescription requests.

I created this Flash animation from a joke email in circulation a few years back to test out some different random number selection ideas in Actionscript. It (more or less) randomly generates Shakespearean-sounding insults by combining elements from a list of phrase components.
