I created the Unofficial WP Car Talk Staff widget (and associated WordPress plugin) to show off some of the 500+ names collected in the Car Talk‚Ñ¢ staff listing. You can easily browse through the listing at CarTalk.com but this plugin allows you to have one or more randomly selected names placed on your sidebar or inserted into a post. A pointless but fun addition to any web site.

Hello All,
Sorry for the temporary outage but, as I am taking a brief break for the holidays, I have decided to make some much needed updates to my website. Things will be moving around quite a bit for the next few days but the revised version will include a wide variety of new functions. Please be patient and check back soon.
All the best, Adam

I had this vision of him as a sort of Cinema Noir public health detective (a la Sydney Greenstreet). Dr Berg was so tickled by the whole thing I ended up giving him a framed copy and several duplicates for family and friends.

I created this Flash animation from a joke email in circulation a few years back to test out some different random number selection ideas in Actionscript. It (more or less) randomly generates Shakespearean-sounding insults by combining elements from a list of phrase components.
The animation loads automatically so you may want to turn your speakers down before viewing the full post.
